Pamorte.Com - Sekretariat Negosiasi Damai Front Revolusi Nasional Melayu Patani<\/a> Patani (BRN) ungkap perkembangan terbaru perihal meningkatnya aksi militer di wilayah konflik Patani. Dalam siaran media yang dirilis Senin (5\/7\/2027), BRN menilai kondisi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa konflik masih berlangsung dan belum memperlihatkan penyelesaian yang berkelanjutan.<\/p>\n

BRN menyebutkan bahwa konflik tersebut telah berlangsung sejak 2004 dan kini memasuki tahun ke-23. Dalam pernyataannya, BRN mengatakan operasi bersenjata yang dilakukan pihaknya memiliki sasaran yang disebut sebagai aparat bersenjata Thailand, kelompok yang dipersenjatai pemerintah Thailand, serta proyek-proyek yang menurut mereka berdampak terhadap kehidupan masyarakat, lingkungan, dan identitas masyarakat Muslim Melayu Patani.<\/p>\n

BRN juga menyatakan pihaknya sangat menghormati dan mematuhi Hukum Humaniter Internasional (International Humanitarian Law\/IHL).<\/p>\n

Selain itu, BRN juga mengimbau masyarakat untuk mengutamakan keselamatan dengan menghindari lokasi yang berpotensi menjadi area operasi bersenjata. Mereka juga meminta warga untuk tidak terlibat dalam pasukan keamanan Pemerintah Thailand maupun mengambil peran yang dapat ditafsirkan sebagai dukungan terhadap operasi keamanan pemerintah, dengan alasan mengurangi risiko terhadap keselamatan pribadi.<\/p>\n

Dalam pernyataan yang sama, BRN menilai meningkatnya ketegangan dan aksi kekerasan di Patani<\/a> wilayah konflik Patani berkaitan dengan belum adanya kemajuan dalam proses negosiasi damai.<\/p>\n

Mereka menyebut perundingan damai merupakan alternatif yang dinilai tepat untuk mencapai penyelesaian konflik yang bermartabat, adil, dan berkelanjutan.\n\nPenyelesaian konflik melalui solusi politik menjadi pendekatan yang mereka pandang dapat mengakhiri konflik antara masyarakat Patani dan Kerajaan Thailand, serta mewujudkan perdamaian dan keamanan yang langgeng.<\/p>\n

Di akhir pernyataannya, BRN menyampaikan apresiasi kepada Pemerintah Malaysia atas perannya sebagai fasilitator proses perundingan damai.
